Platforms

Can I connect Soundcloud?

Soundcloud isn't currently allowing new apps to access their API, so we're not able to connect with them at the moment. You can however add Soundcloud as a custom link in your site's footer.

Can I connect YouTube Music?

YouTube Music doesn't currently offer an API to access their platform, so we're not able to connect with them at the moment. You can however add YouTube Music as a custom link in your site's footer.

Can I connect Amazon Music?

Amazon Music is currently not a platform we connect with. You can however add Amazon Music as a custom link in your site's footer.

Can I connect Tidal?

Tidal isn't currently allowing new apps to access their API, so we're not able to connect with them at the moment. You can however add Tidal as a custom link in your site's footer.

Can I connect Audiomack?

Audiomack is currently not a platform we connect with. You can however add Audiomack as a custom link in your site's footer.

Comparisons

Is Supertape an alternative to Linktree, Linkfire, Feature.fm, etc?

Short answer - yes. Long answer - Supertape takes the best parts of link in bio pages and bakes them right into your website. There are a million services out there to make a generic list of links, but Supertape smart links are:

  • Automatic - no need to manually create or update a link page every time something is released.

  • Branded - your links live inside your website, so they’re branded by your own domain, colors, fonts, and images.

  • Integrated - fans can easily navigate between your links, exposing them to your other releases.

  • Ad-free - we don’t stick gross banner ads on your page, or make your fans wait for a redirect while we try to sell them something.

Is Supertape an alternative to Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, etc?

Yes again. While we certainly do all the essential things that generic website builders do (customizable templates, visitor analytics, custom domains, SSL, SEO, etc.), only Supertape websites are:

  • Made for musicians - our app, features, templates, help articles, and everything else are designed exclusively for musicians. It’s everything an artist needs and nothing they don’t. Influencers, makers, small businesses, content creators, and podcasters can use any other service. This one’s for us.

  • Automated - typical website builders require you to create, upload, and maintain all of your content. Not us. We find all of your music, merch, videos, and tour dates on the platforms you’ve already added them to and keep your website up to date for you.

  • Optimized for smart links - while any website needs to provide basic information about the thing it’s promoting, Supertape websites are also designed to intelligently route your fans off-site to the best place

Features

Can I create a pre-save campaign?

We don't offer the ability to do pre-saves currently. Pre-saves are popular with some artists, but they're controversial with others, and we're uncertain of their actual value. When your release hits DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, etc), even a pre-release, Supertape will automatically import it. If a pre-save campaign is important to you, you can create one elsewhere and add a Post on your home page to promote it.

Can I create an Electronic Press Kit (EPK)?

We don’t offer the ability to build an EPK directly in Supertape yet (we're focused on the website experience first), but it’s definitely on our radar. If this is something you’re interested in, or have thoughts and ideas for how it should work, we’d love to hear from you.

Can I add a Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, etc?

We don't currently support pixels or 3rd-party analytics, but we know they're important for running ad campaigns. We hope to support them in the future once we can address the privacy / cookie impact and consent handling. Our sites currently use exclusively cookie-less and privacy-focused approach.

Do you offer record label or multi-artist websites?

Not yet. We focused on artists first, but supporting record labels and other multi-artist sites is definitely on our radar. If this is something you’re interested in, or have thoughts and ideas for how it should work, we’d love to hear from you.

Do you offer an API to build custom websites and apps with?

Not yet, but this is something we’d love to offer in the future. We put a lot of time and energy into aggregating all of the data for an artist to build a website from, and we’d love to be a headless CMS for front-end developers to build a custom website or app for themselves or their clients off of. If this is something you’re interested in, or have thoughts and ideas for how it should work, we’d love to hear from you.

Subscriptions

Can I have multiple sites?

Yep! Though keep in mind that pricing is per site, and each site is designed for a single artist. So if you’re a label with multiple artists, or an individual with multiple projects, each one would need its own site with its own subscription.

Can I cancel any time?

Absolutely. When you subscribe to Supertape, you’ll choose monthly or yearly billing. If at any time during your billing period you decide to cancel, you won’t be billed again, and you’ll be able to continue using your website until your current billing period ends.

What' your refund policy?

We want you to love using Supertape and never feel taken advantage of. If you’re ever unhappy with our service, contact us and we’ll take care of you.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments from a variety of credit and debit cards, digital wallets like ApplePay and GooglePay, buy now pay later services, and regional payment providers around the world.
