Referral Program Terms
Learn how Supertape’s Referral Program works, what the benefits are, who’s eligible, and all of its terms and conditions.
Effective October 16, 2024
These Terms are subject to and governed by Supertape’s Terms of Service between you (“you” or “your”) and Supertape. These Terms do not replace Supertape’s standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also continue to apply to your use of Supertape, including the Program. Qualification for and participation in the Program (defined below) is subject to these Program Terms, and by participating in the Program, you are agreeing to these Terms.
Introduction
These terms (“Terms”) apply to your access to and participation in Supertape’s Referral Program (“Program”). The Program provides Supertape account holders (“Referrers”) with the opportunity to receive bill credits for qualified referrals.
Supertape, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to terminate, modify, add, end, or delete any of these Terms, this Program, benefits, offers, or rewards, in whole or in part, at any time, including during the Program, with or without notice. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.
Program Timing
This Program and the Agreement shall be in effect so long as you are earning credits; however, Supertape may terminate this Agreement or elect to end the Program at its sole discretion at any time, for any reason.
Benefits
Referrers may earn bill credits or other rewards or benefits, in an amount stated as part of the Program.
Eligibility
To qualify as a Referrer, you must be a Supertape account holder. While free Supertape account holders may earn and accumulate bill credits, they cannot redeem them. To redeem bill credits, Referrers must be on a paid Supertape plan.
If you are on a free trial of a Supertape plan or are a Free plan user, you may participate and upgrade to a paid Supertape plan to redeem earned bill credits. For free trial users, upon the conclusion of the free trial, any credits earned during the trial will be redeemed (i) once you upgrade to a paid plan and (ii) after the first payment of your invoice on your paid plan.
You will lose all accumulated bill credits and any other accrued benefits if you (i) close your Supertape account, (ii) if after your free trial, you close your account or do not upgrade to a paid plan; or (iii) you downgrade to or are on a Free plan. Redemption of bill credits are contingent upon good payment history and compliance with all Supertape terms of service, as determined in Supertape’s sole discretion.
Existing Supertape users cannot refer themselves, and users that currently or previously have been a Supertape account holder aren’t considered referrals. Only the first website upgraded to a paid plan by a referred user is eligible to receive benefits from the Program. Supertape employees, vendors, contractors, partners, and agencies are not eligible to participate in the Program.
Other Important Program Terms:
- Once on a paid Supertape plan, Referrer’s existing bill credits will automatically be applied to the next invoice. If the Referrer earns more bill credits than there are charges on their next invoice then all excess bill credits will roll over to the following invoice. This cycle will continue until all bill credits are expended or Referrer becomes ineligible.
- Bill credits have no cash value and may only be redeemed as bill credits towards Supertape plan costs. Referrers cannot receive a check, cash back, refund, or other forms of reimbursement for bill credit balances.
- Referrers may combine this offer with their pre-existing discounts and promotions.
- Other terms and conditions may apply to the Program promotion for Referees, as further detailed in the applicable promotional offer, which terms and conditions are hereby incorporated by reference.
- Supertape will not be liable in the event of any change, suspension, or discontinuation of the Program. Promotional awards received through the Program may be taxable to the recipient. Participants in the Program should contact their tax advisor. Offers void where prohibited by law.
- Any fraudulent submission or wrongful or fraudulent attempt by any person to obtain bill credits, benefits, or rewards, as determined by Supertape in its sole discretion, shall give Supertape the right to deny such request(s). Bill credits, rewards, and benefits cannot be sold, transferred, or assigned. Attempts to purchase, sell or transfer bill credits, rewards, and benefits in violation of these Terms may result in Supertape suspending, deactivating, or terminating the account and voiding the bill credits, rewards, or benefits, at Supertape’s sole discretion.
